Our client, a leader in the FMCG sector, is seeking a driven and experienced Sales Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities :

  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at boosting revenue within the the different divisions.  
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining a robust pipeline of clients.  
  • Partner with the marketing team to craft campaigns that enhance brand visibility and drive lead generation.  
  • Guide, mentor, and manage a team of recruitment consultants to consistently achieve or surpass sales objectives.  
  • Establish and monitor individual and team performance goals, with an emphasis on growth and continuous improvement.  
  • Hold regular team meetings and conduct performance reviews to maintain exceptional service standards and delivery.  
  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with both new and existing clients.  
  • Oversee contract negotiations and business terms to ensure profitable and sustainable partnerships.  
  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain ongoing engagement with key clients.  
  • Evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to refine sales tactics.  
  • Carry out regional market analysis to determine current rates and make necessary recommendations.  
  • Present regular sales performance reports to senior leadership, including updates on client acquisition and  recruitment.  
  • Ensure efficient and streamlined operations for  placements by working closely with finance and compliance teams.  
  • Oversee division budgets and utilize the company’s CRM system to monitor all sales activities and bookings.   

 Requirements: 

  • Demonstrated success in a sales or business development role.  
  • At least 5 years of experience managing a sales team, ideally within the FMCG or other sectors.  
  • Strong leadership abilities, with expertise in coaching, mentoring, and enhancing team performance.  
  • Exceptional skills in negotiation, relationship building, and communication.  
  • Competence in interpreting market data and adjusting strategies for optimal growth.  
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and relevant recruitment or sales software.  
  • Familiarity with online platforms and social media is advantageous.
