Example of an Ad Operations Job Description
INTRODUCTION:
- Company overview: Founding vision, current state of affairs, size, relevant stats.
- Role mission: Goals, team and resources to make it happen.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the setup, trafficking, and optimization of digital ad campaigns across platforms.
- Ensure proper ad delivery, tracking, and reporting using tools like Google Ad Manager and third-party platforms.
- Troubleshoot campaign issues, including tracking discrepancies and creative specifications.
- Collaborate with sales, clients, and media teams to ensure campaign objectives are met.
- Provide detailed post-campaign analysis, including insights and recommendations for improvement.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in ad operations or similar roles.
- Proficiency in ad-serving platforms (Google Ad Manager, DV360, or equivalent).
